Partner Neal D. Moore, III has spent his career defending and trying cases involving personal injury and death and specializes in complex product liability matters, working closely with professionals in industrial and commercial enterprises and the defense of commercial carriers and premises liability matters for hotels and restaurants across Alabama. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he graduated cum laude with honors and Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law. Moore was awarded the designation of Certified Litigation Management Professional from the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance and has completed Alabama Mediation Training. Moore has an AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell®.
Partner L. Jackson Young focuses his practice on the defense of personal injury and death actions, complex consumer financial services litigation and creditor’s rights actions, and insurance bad faith and outrage actions. He is licensed in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. Young is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and Emory University School of Law. Young has an AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell and serves as the Alabama State Compliance Chair for the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals.
Partner Jeremy S. Hazelton focuses his practice on general liability and employment defense litigation where he represents transportation and insurance companies and individuals throughout the state and federal courts in Alabama. He has successfully litigated a broad range of matters obtaining successful defense verdicts for clients. Additionally, Hazelton has coached Cumberland’s national trial team to a regional championship and national quarterfinals. Hazelton is a graduate of Auburn University and Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law.
Associate Kendall L. Fann focuses her practice on business services and commercial litigation, insurance defense, labor and employment, and product liability. She is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association and participates in the Bar’s Women’s Section Mentor-Mentee Program. She is licensed in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Fann is a graduate of Millsaps College and earned her J.D. at Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and her M.B.A from Samford University’s Brock School of Business.
