Congratulations to Partner Sharon D. Stuart, elected to the Alabama State Bar as Board of Bar Commissioners for the 10th Judicial Circuit-Place 7. Sharon’s term begins July 1, 2026 and ens June 30, 2029. The Board of Bar Commissioners is the governing body of the Alabama State Bar, responsible for setting bar policy, approving the bar’s budget, an acting on matters affecting the legal profession and the public it serves. Each judicial circuit is represented by at least one commissioner, with an additional commissioner for every 300 attorneys in the circuit.
