
Associate Hannah E. Black has been appointed to serve on DRI’s 2024-2025 Young Lawyers Steering Committee and Social Media Chair. The mission of the Committee is to provide professional development, quality CLE programs, and networking opportunities. Each June, the Committee brings together top litigators nationwide and in-house counsel from corporations worldwide to help associates and young lawyers refine their legal skills and take their practice to a higher level. In addition to serving on the Steering Committee, Hannah is also a member of the DRI Labor & Employment Substantive Law Committee.
Hannah is an associate in the Birmingham office and represents clients in civil litigation, focusing on insurance coverage and bad faith, insurance defense, commercial transportation, liquor liability, and employment liability. She is a member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, the Alabama State Bar Association, the Birmingham Bar Association, the Shelby County Bar Association, and the Young Professionals of Birmingham, and serves on the YWCA Junior Board.
