Christian & Small LLP is pleased to announce that Karolyn E. Eilertsen has joined the firm as an Associate in its Birmingham, Alabama office. A native of Louisiana, Eilertsen focuses her practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance defense, construction, transportation, and professional liability.
Before joining Christian & Small, Eilertsen clerked for the Honorable Karoline Mehalchick in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. She graduated cum laude from Tulane University in 2017 and received her Juris Doctorate from Tulane University Law School in 2022. While at Tulane, she was a distinguished pro-bono recipient, where she provided more than 150 hours of legal aid to the New Orleans community and served as a student attorney in Tulane’s First Amendment Clinic.
