Christian & Small is pleased to announce that Partner F. Todd Weston has joined the firm in its Birmingham office. He regularly represents clients in matters across the full spectrum of legal issues, though his practice is generally focused in the following areas: labor and employment, transportation, environmental/toxic tort, product and general liability, insurance, health care, cyber and data breach liability, and professional liability defense.
“Working on cases with Christian & Small attorneys over the years, I’ve become friends with them and witnessed their character firsthand. So it’s an exceptional honor that they’ve invited me to join their ranks,” Weston said. “The strategic growth of the firm throughout Alabama and Mississippi and the talented roster of locally focused litigators precisely complements my practice. I’m excited to get to work at Christian & Small and bring this competitive advantage to my clients.”
Known for aggressive and efficient litigation in pursuing his client’s goals, Weston brings more than 10 years of experience to Christian & Small, representing corporate and insurance clients in litigation matters as primary counsel for a number of domestic corporate entities, foreign multinationals and insurance carriers in litigation across the country. Over the course of his practice, Todd has successfully represented clients at trial, through dispositive motion efforts, including multiple dismissals and summary judgment wins, and targeted litigation strategies to favorably resolve his client’s issues.
Weston is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Alabama, Illinois and Mississippi. He is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association and the Mississippi Bar Association. He received his law degree from John Marshall Law School, where he was enrolled as a visiting law student at the Honorable Society of Kings Inn in Dublin Ireland, and completed his undergraduate work with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting from Miami University of Ohio. Weston is also an active member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) and is regularly called upon by his clients to speak and present on current legal issues and strategies for minimizing risk.
