Dana Lindsey__Terri Lowery 2014On Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, Christian & Small celebrated Thanksgiving, remembered one special friend and honored another. Each year, the firm awards the Terri Lowrey Spirit Award, created to honor and celebrate the life of Terri Lowrey, who died in 2011 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Christian & Small is proud to announce that Dana Lindsey is the recipient of the third annual Terri Lowrey Spirit Award.
The Terri Lowrey Spirit Award is given to a person who embodies the spirit and qualities we so admired in Terri; compassionate, giving, faithful, thoughtful, positive, bright, giving, determined, loyal, a fighter and above all else – a friend. A commemorative painting hangs in the 18th floor lobby with a plaque that reads, “We are, after all, remembered in the end by how we treat others.”
As attorneys and staff gathered together for the announcement before the firm’s Thanksgiving luncheon, Managing Partner Deborah Alley Smith presented the 2014 award and remarked on some of the many complimentary statements made about Dana, which included, “Dana is always one of the first people to volunteer to help others; she has a compassionate and caring attitude; she is a strong woman of faith, very giving of herself and her time at work, at home and at her husband’s church.” Dana joined Lois Medders and Jane Edgerton, recipients of the 2012 and 2013 Terri Lowrey Spirit Awards respectively. A contribution will be made in Dana’s name to Camp Smile-A-Mile.
Congratulations, Dana!
