Gaby is an associate in the firm’s Birmingham office and focuses her practice on insurance defense, including premises liability matters, automobile accidents, and commercial trucking litigation. She has experience representing insurance carriers in both first- and third-party claims, and has represented businesses regarding claims of FDCPA violations, FCRA violations, and contract disputes.
Gaby’s experience includes all phases of the litigation process, from initial case assessment through trial and appeal. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Gaby offers effective legal representation and communication with clients in both languages, ensuring accessibility and understanding throughout the legal process.
Gaby earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Auburn University and her Juris Doctor from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law. During law school, she co-founded the Center for Children, Law, and Ethics and served as the President of the Hispanic Interest Law Student Association. Outside of her legal career, Gaby enjoys cooking new recipes, spending quality time with friends and family, and cheering on her hometown team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with her husband, Connor.

- Motion to Dismiss granted in the Northern District of Alabama, Southern Division. The Plaintiff alleged violations of the FDCPA, 15 U.S.C. § 1692 et seq. The Court granted the Motion to Dismiss under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 12(b)(6), holding that the conduct described by the Plaintiff did not rise to the level of harassing, oppressive, or abusive conduct, or amount to false, deceptive, or misleading representations or means of collecting or attempting to collect a debt. (2025).
- Obtained a complete summary judgment on behalf of a client in the Northern District of Alabama on an Insurance Bad Faith claim. The Court held that the insurer had a debatable reason for denying the claim (2023).
- Complete summary judgment granted as to claims for Bad Faith, Contract Violation, Fraud, and Violation of Fiduciary Duty, in the Circuit Court of Montgomery County, Alabama, in an automobile accident involving the Alabama Guest Passenger Statute (2024).
