As a seasoned trial litigator and counsel, Todd devotes his practice to providing his insurance and institutional clients with the best possible service and legal representation in Alabama, Mississippi, and throughout the Southeast. Known primarily as a problem-solver, Todd is a firm believer in the saying “You catch more flies with honey than vinegar.” Todd implements this belief into all areas of his practice and demands the same of his team, and he supports it through strong, creative, and aggressive (when called upon) legal strategies to promote efficient and favorable resolutions for his clients.

Todd’s past practice for an international firm in Chicago took him across the country litigating on behalf of insurance carriers, seeing success at trial, through dispositive motion efforts (including multiple dismissals and summary judgment wins), and favorably resolving matters in various forums through all available means.  Todd proudly makes Alabama his home and brings his experience serving those same clients who trusted him across the country, with their litigation needs here in the Southeast.  The trust clients have placed in Todd and his team means that he regularly represents clients in matters across the full spectrum of legal issues, though his practice is generally focused on the following areas: insurance coverage/bad faith, construction, labor and employment, transportation, environmental/toxic tort, product/general liability, and professional liability defense.

Outside of his practice, Todd is happily married to his wife, an elementary school teacher, and they have three energetic little children, a girl, and twin boys.  He used to golf when he had the time, though now he tries his best as an amateur BBQ pitmaster, endures the punishment of being a life-long Detroit Lions fan, and coaches his children’s sports teams.
