Christian & Small is pleased to announce that Partner David L. Faulkner Jr. has been invited to participate in the 2015-2016 Leadership Birmingham class. Class members are selected based on their leadership abilities, career accomplishments, volunteer activities, contributions to the community, and commitment to help shape a better community.
Faulkner has a broad civil trial practice that includes premises liability, products liability, commercial transportation and trucking, personal injury, insurance, fraud and business and commercial litigation. He has experience defending major retailers, large and small transportation companies, various product manufacturers and retailers, and liability and health insurers.
In addition to his law practice, Faulkner represents District 46 (Jefferson County, including Mountain Brook, Homewood and Hoover) in the Alabama House of Representatives and serves on the following committees: Judiciary, Financial Services, Insurance, and Jefferson County Legislation.
The purpose of Leadership Birmingham is to prepare and encourage its graduates to engage in greater individual and group action in order to contribute to the betterment of the community and its people. Through a series of monthly seminars, these leaders come to know and understand more about the community and one another as they explore timely and relevant issues, and exchange ideas and points of view.
Faulkner joins the firm’s distinguished Leadership Birmingham alumni: Managing Partner Deborah Alley Smith (2013-2014 class) and Partner Sharon D. Stuart (2012-2013 class).
