HooksJonathanChristian & Small Associate Jonathan M. Hooks recently secured a full dismissal, with prejudice, of a major liquefied petroleum distributor from a serious personal injury lawsuit. The suit was filed by two plaintiffs who were severely burned when their travel trailer exploded on a camping trip. The plaintiffs alleged that the distributor had failed to odorize the propane sold to the plaintiffs, which Hooks was able to disprove. After lengthy discussions, the plaintiffs agreed to voluntarily dismiss the distributor without requiring a monetary settlement in exchange for that dismissal.
