This is the third-annual peer review survey, asking more than 4,000 local attorneys registered with the Birmingham Bar Association for their nominations for the area’s top attorneys in 29 practice areas. Researchers and staff at both Birmingham News Multimedia and the Birmingham Bar Association reviewed the results to vet both the voters and winners.
A special note of congratulations to Deborah Alley Smith and Daniel D. Sparks who each received the highest number of votes in their practice area.
