Elli Anne is an associate in the Birmingham office. Her primary practice areas include commercial dispute litigation, bankruptcy, and business services litigation. Elli Anne represents creditors, bankruptcy trustees, landlords, corporations, and financial institutions, among others. Her commercial and bankruptcy practice involves counseling clients on matters such as general creditors’ rights, collections, lien enforcement, asset recovery, relief from stay, contract disputes, and adversary proceedings in bankruptcy. Elli Anne also has experience in insurance coverage and liquor liability, representing clients in contract and tort litigation, defending against claims of bad faith, breach of contract, fraud, extra-contractual damages, and claims arising under Alabama’s Dram Shop statutes. Elli Anne practices in federal and state courts throughout Alabama.

Elli Anne grew up in the Birmingham area. She attended Auburn University, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and minors in business and psychology. While at Auburn, Elli Anne was a member of the Auburn University Cheerleading Team and was selected as co-head cheerleader during her senior year. After graduating from Auburn, Elli Anne began law school at The University of Alabama School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor. During her time in law school, Elli Anne served as a student ambassador, a member of the Civil Rights and Liberties Moot Court Competition Team, and a student attorney in the Entrepreneurship and Nonprofit Clinic, where she advised local clients on various transactional matters regarding their businesses.

In her free time, Elli Anne spends time with her husband, Parker, and their goldendoodle, Honey. She enjoys traveling with her family, cooking, exercising, watching sports, and being outdoors as much as possible.
