Christian & Small is pleased to welcome 2024 Summer Associates: Katie Applebaum, Savannah Harris, William Philpot, Eric Posas, Sam Rickert, and Stephen Snypes. 2024 Summer Associates
Katie Applebaum is a University of Alabama graduate and a rising 2L at the University of Alabama School of Law. She also was the piccolo section leader in Alabama’s famous Million Dollar Band.
Savannah Harris is a rising 2L at Cumberland School of Law and participates in Trial Advocacy and Women in Law. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2023, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi.
William “Will” Philpot is a rising 3L at Cumberland School of Law and has served as his class SBA representative for two years. Will graduated from Auburn University in 2021, where he was president of Theta Chi, served as a student recruiter, and participated in SGA.
Eric Posas is a rising 2L at Cumberland School of Law. Eric graduated from the University of Georgia in 2022 where he was VP of Sigma Chi and Chairman of the Ducks Unlimited Chapter.
Sam Rickert is a University of Alabama graduate and a rising 3L at the University of Alabama School of Law. Sam also served as the Executive Vice President of the Alabama Student Government Association.
Stephen “Skipper” Snypes is a University of Alabama graduate and a rising 2L at the University of Alabama School of Law. As an undergraduate at the University of Alabama, he served as president of Delta Kappa Epsilon.
The summer associate program at Christian & Small provides practical hands-on experience in litigation files which is invaluable to a prospective lawyer. Summer Associates will participate in the firm’s social and business development activities, as well as have the opportunity to be mentored by various lawyers in the firm.
