Christian & Small is pleased to announce that Partner M. Jansen Voss is invited to participate in Leadership Birmingham Class of 2023-2024. Leadership Birmingham was founded in 1981 and its purpose is to ensure that leaders in the community are educated about current issues and challenges in our region. Each year, Leadership Birmingham brings together a group of 50 leaders from diverse backgrounds to prepare and encourage them to engage in greater individual and group action to contribute to the betterment of the community and its people. For ten months, class participants will visit more than 30 locations learning about area challenges and opportunities from experts in education, economic development, government, justice, human services, diversity and inclusion, and quality of life.
Jansen has developed a diverse defense litigation and appellate practice in both state and federal courts in Alabama and Mississippi. He represents a wide range of businesses, governmental entities, and individuals in complex personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits, as well as business disputes and breach of contract matters. He is active in numerous legal and civic organizations including serving on the boards of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, the Birmingham Bar Foundation, the Jefferson, Blount, St. Clair County Mental Health Center, and LifeSouth Community Blood Centers. He has an AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is routinely recognized by The Best Lawyers in America®, Mid-South Region Super Lawyers®, and Benchmark Litigation. He has been recognized by The Birmingham Business Journal as a “Rising Star Lawyer” and was named to their “Top 40 Under 40” Class.
