Christian & Small partner M. Jansen Voss recently represented a national pet supplies retailer before the Alabama Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners (ABVME). The retailer is launching a pilot project in Alabama to provide veterinary services at some of its Birmingham-area retail locations. The retailer must have a permit from the ABVME to offer those services. Earlier this week, Jansen successfully obtained a mobile veterinary clinic permit for the national retailer allowing it to provide convenient and affordable preventative veterinary care at select retail locations in the Birmingham area.
In addition to his litigation practice in state and federal courts, Jansen represents national, regional, and local clients before a number of regulatory boards in Alabama, including the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners, the Alabama Board of Pharmacy, the Alabama Board of Nursing, the Alabama Board of Examiners in Counseling, Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board, and the Alabama Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. Jansen has also represented clients before the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure, and the Mississippi Board of Pharmacy.
