We are pleased to welcome Priyanka P. Zaveri who has joined the firm as an associate in the Birmingham office. Priyanka will represent clients in the areas of Insurance, Insurance Defense, and Transportation. Managing Partner Greer B. Mallette stated, “Priyanka brings a unique perspective having worked on all sides of the law: defense, plaintiff, public defender, and in-house counsel for a national insurance carrier. This gives her an advantage in her ability to connect with clients, fellow attorneys, and insurance adjusters. She is well equipped to defend the needs of her clients.” Priyanka added, “I am fortunate to work with the team at Christian & Small and I look forward to growing as a litigator and an individual alongside this talented team of attorneys and litigators.”
While working on her undergraduate degree at UAB, Priyanka served as a member of UAB’s Mock Trial Team for three years. This cemented her desire to pursue a law degree upon graduation from UAB in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor concentration in Professional Writing. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Samford University Cumberland School of Law in 2016 where she served on the Cumberland Trial Team and the Cumberland Trial Board. Priyanka was also active in the Indian Cultural Association and the Asian American Organization. She is currently a member of the Alabama State Bar.
