We are pleased to welcome Maggie H. Clanton who has joined the firm as an associate in the Birmingham office. Clanton will focus her practice on Business & Commercial Litigation, Governmental Liability, Insurance, Professional Liability, Product Liability, Retail & Hospitality, and Transportation. Prior to joining Christian & Small, Clanton practiced for two years with a local defense firm.
Clanton graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama in 2016 and received her Juris Doctorate from The University of Alabama School of Law in 2019 where she was a member of the National Trial Advocacy Competition Team and a Class Senator for the Student Bar Association. Clanton served as President of Raise the Bar, a mentoring program for local youth, and earned The Dean’s Community Service Award and a certificate in public interest law.
Clanton is an executive board member of the Birmingham Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Section, a member of the Women’s Section of the Birmingham Bar and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.
