Christian & Small is accepting applications for its Summer Associate program in its Birmingham, Alabama office for current 1L and 2L students. Summer Associates will work in-person during the summer and part-time during the following school year either in-person, remote, or a hybrid.
Preferred candidates will have a desire to pursue a career in litigation, have excellent academic credentials, and demonstrate writing ability. Christian & Small is particularly interested in candidates who are active leaders in their school, local community, and the legal community.
The program provides practical hands-on experience in litigation files which is invaluable to a prospective lawyer. Summer Associates will participate in the firm’s social and business development activities as well as have the opportunity to be mentored by various lawyers in the firm.
