Partners Robert E. Cooper and Richard M. Thayer were successful in securing a summary judgment for a national manufacturer of climbing products and its retailer in a claim for serious personal injuries. The plaintiff sought damages for more than $175,000 in medical expenses, permanent injuries and vocational impairment. The Court determined that the product was not defective or unreasonably dangerous.
