Ferguson joined Christian & Small in 2011 after serving as a judge for 15 years in the Domestic Relations Division of Alabama’s Tenth Judicial Circuit. His experiences as an attorney and a circuit court judge prepared him to help the firm’s mediation and arbitration clients.
Ferguson also serves as a private judge under Alabama’s Private Judge Act (which he was instrumental in passing) and tried the state’s first case. In July, he authored a post for our Nonstop Insights blog discussing how some administrative directives that were added to the law immediately following its passage were recently rescinded.
