Christian & Small Partner David B. Walston spoke at the Primerus Business Law Institute Symposium in New York on May 15, 2014. Helmed by global thought leaders, this year’s conference theme was “Corporation in Crisis: Practical Approaches for Success” and was well attended by executive management officials that included General Counsel, regulatory and compliance officials, and communications and public relations professionals. Attendees engaged in highly interactive panel discussions on topics that included “Crisis Communications: Managing Corporate Relations in the Court of Public Opinion,” “Managing Bet-the-Company Litigation,” Combating Hostile Takeovers and Activist Investors,” and “Navigating Through Client Liquidation or Bankruptcy.”
Walston devotes his legal practice to defending labor and employment matters. He has more than 25 years experience representing businesses, including hospitals, manufacturers, contractors, hotels, and real estate and landscape companies. He is a member of the Labor and Employment Sections of the American Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar.
