On Thursday, November 21, 2013, Christian & Small celebrated Thanksgiving and remembered one special friend and honored another. Each year, the firm awards the Terri Lowrey Spirit Award, created to honor and celebrate the life of Terri Lowrey, who died in 2011 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Christian & Small is proud to announce that Jane Edgerton is the recipient of the second annual Terri Lowrey Spirit Award.
The Terri Lowrey Spirit Award is given to a person who embodies the spirit and qualities we so admired in Terri; compassionate, giving, faithful, thoughtful, positive, bright, giving, determined, loyal, a fighter and above all else – a friend. A commemorative painting hangs in the lobby of the 17th floor with a plaque that reads, “We are, after all, remembered in the end by how we treat others.”
This year’s award was presented to Jane by Mr. Duncan Manley and Lois Medders, the 2012 recipient of the Terri Lowrey Spirit Award. Mr Manley shared that Jane was nominated by more than one person and was described as “kind, has a great attitude about life and has been an example of strength and faith.”
We couldn’t agree more!
