Christian & Small is pleased to announce that Associate Hannah T. Kennedy has been selected to be a member of the Birmingham Bar Association’s 2017 class of the Future Leaders Forum.
The BBA Future Leaders Forum aims to cultivate leaders from among a group of motivated attorneys who have been in practice for three to eight years. The annual program begins in July and runs through December. Participants attend monthly sessions focused on experiencing, learning about, and maximizing leadership skills and opportunities in the legal profession and in the community in general.
Kennedy focuses her practice on business and commercial litigation, general civil litigation, premises liability, and transportation matters, and has also taken on criminal defense matters as well. Prior to entering private practice, she gained invaluable trial experience by prosecuting numerous criminal matters, including felony and capital murder cases, as a Deputy District Attorney for both the 15th and 16th Judicial Circuits.
Kennedy joined Christian & Small in 2016 and earned her Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2013. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar Young Lawyer’s Section, the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association (ADLA), where she serves as a board member for the Young Lawyers Section, and the Defense Research Institute (DRI).
