Christian & Small LLP is pleased to announce that Hannah Torbert Kennedy has joined the firm as an associate focusing her practice on areas such as premises liability, transportation, and business and commercial litigation, as well as general civil defense litigation.

Kennedy is a native of Gadsden, Alabama. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and her Juris Doctor degree from the Cumberland School of Law. Before private practice, Kennedy worked as a deputy district attorney for both the 15th and 16th Judicial Circuits, gaining invaluable trial experience by prosecuting numerous criminal matters, including felony and capital murder cases. She is a member of the Alabama Bar Association, the Birmingham Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association, and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association (ADLA). She also serves on the ADLA Young Lawyers section Board of Directors.
