Josh Carpenter

Josh teaches high school English and will be teaching drama in the spring.  He is the defensive coordinator for the varsity football team and was recently named head coach of the baseball team. He was the assistant coach on the baseball team last year.

Josh begins a two-year study in the fall of 2012 at Oxford to get a master of philosophy degree and will focus on comparative social policy. Josh’s goal is to return to Alabama to share lessons learned to change the trajectory for many kids in some of the poorer parts of the state; those who do not have the same opportunities as their more affluant peers.
