One of Jeremy Carlson’s good friends once described how being a police officer was, to him, more of a calling than just a job. Jeremy has adopted the same career philosophy as a lawyer.
Jeremy was a seventh grade social studies teacher before he became an attorney. In the classroom environment, he honed the skill of simplifying complicated matters and making those matters accessible to people with different backgrounds and ability levels. Whether in the classroom or in the community, Jeremy thinks this skill is critical. To Jeremy, being a nonstop advocate means more than just working late or chronically checking e-mails, it’s about educating and learning from his clients, and taking ownership of their problems.
